Convert SVG to PNG at any resolution
SVG is a vector format: shapes are described mathematically, so an SVG logo or icon stays sharp at any size. Many places, including social media, email signatures, office documents and some design tools, accept only raster images, so you need a PNG version. Because the SVG is redrawn at the size you choose, the PNG comes out crisp rather than blurry.
Pick an export scale from 1× to 4× the SVG's own size, for example 4× for a high-resolution logo. Transparent areas stay transparent in PNG and WebP, while JPG output fills them with the background color you choose.
Getting the best result from SVG files
- Use 2× or more for logos that will appear on high-resolution (retina) screens.
- Fonts and images referenced from external URLs are not loaded; convert text to outlines in your design tool first.
- SVGs without a width and height are sized from their viewBox automatically.
Converted in your browser, never uploaded
Every conversion runs inside your browser. Images are read from your device into memory (RAM), decoded, redrawn on an HTML5 canvas and saved straight to your downloads, so personal photos never touch a server, are never stored and cannot be seen by anyone else. There is no upload wait, no file-count limit and no watermark. Converted files keep their full resolution; camera metadata such as GPS location is not copied into the new file.
Frequently asked questions
Will my PNG be blurry?
No. The vector shapes are rendered directly at the output size you choose, so edges stay sharp. Choose a larger scale if you need a bigger image, instead of enlarging the PNG later.
Is the transparent background kept?
Yes, when converting to PNG or WebP. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background color set in the panel.
Why does my text look different after converting?
For security, browsers do not load external fonts or images inside SVG files drawn as images, so a fallback font may be used. Convert text to paths (outlines) in Illustrator, Figma or Inkscape before exporting the SVG.
