PNG, JPG or WebP up to 5 MB. A square logo with transparent background looks best.
Code pixels under the logo are removed and replaced with a clean padded background. Error correction switches to High so the code still scans.
Create a QR code for any website link
A URL QR code lets people open a web page by pointing their phone camera at it, with no typing. It is ideal for restaurant menus, posters, product packaging, business cards and presentation slides. This generator turns any link into a high-resolution QR code that you can style with brand colors, gradients, rounded dots, custom corner eyes and your logo in the center.
Unlike many "free" QR makers, these codes are static: the link is stored inside the code itself rather than routed through a short-link service. There is no expiry date, no scan limit and no account that has to stay paid for your printed codes to keep working.
Make a link QR code in 4 steps
- 1Paste your link. If you type just a domain like example.com, https:// is added for you.
- 2Pick colors, a gradient, the pixel shape and the corner eye style.
- 3Optionally upload your logo; error correction switches to High automatically.
- 4Download a high-resolution PNG, or an SVG for print, and test-scan it before printing.
Design tips that keep QR codes scannable
- Use a dark code on a light background with strong contrast; some scanners cannot read light-on-dark codes.
- Keep a quiet zone (empty margin) around the code; 4 modules is the standard.
- Keep the logo at or below about 30% of the width.
- Shorter links create simpler codes that scan faster from further away.
Your QR data stays on your device
Every QR code is generated entirely in your browser. Bank account numbers, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details and wallet addresses are never sent to a server, logged or stored. The codes are also static: your data is encoded directly in the pattern instead of passing through a tracking redirect, so they keep working permanently, with no subscription that can switch them off and no scan limit.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The link is encoded directly in the QR code, so it works for as long as the web page exists. There is no account, subscription or redirect server involved.
Can I change the link after printing the QR code?
Not with a static code, because the link is part of the pattern. If you expect the destination to change, point the QR code to a page you control and update that page instead.
What size should a printed QR code be?
Make it at least 2 × 2 cm for scanning up close. For posters, a common rule is about one tenth of the scanning distance: a code read from 2 metres away should be around 20 cm wide. Use the SVG download for print so it stays sharp at any size.
Will a logo in the middle stop the code from working?
Not when it is sized sensibly. Adding a logo switches error correction to High, which can recover up to 30% of the code, and the generator clears the pixels under the logo so nothing overlaps.
