Tiled anti-theft watermark across the whole image
A single corner watermark can be cropped away in seconds. A tiled watermark repeats your text or logo diagonally across the entire image, with optional thin guide lines between rows, so there is no clean area left to crop and retouching it out takes serious effort.
Keep the opacity low, around 20–30%, and the pattern stays visible as protection while the photo underneath remains easy to see. It is the standard approach for proof photos, stock previews, design drafts and listings that often get copied.
Your photos never leave your device
Watermarking usually happens right before publishing, while photos are still unreleased product shots, client work or personal documents. Upload-based tools copy those files to someone else's server. Here every image is decoded, stamped and saved inside your browser's memory, and nothing is uploaded. Output keeps the exact original pixel dimensions, and camera metadata such as GPS location is removed from the exported files.
Frequently asked questions
Can a tiled watermark be removed?
Removing a pattern that covers the whole image, especially with guide lines, takes a lot of manual work and usually leaves visible damage. No watermark is impossible to remove, but tiled ones are by far the hardest.
What opacity should I use?
20–30% is a good range: clearly visible as protection without hiding the content. Use a higher opacity for proofs that must not be used before payment.
Should I use text or a logo for the pattern?
Short text such as your brand name or website works best because it stays readable at small sizes. A simple single-color logo also works well.
